    Default LP Jam Block---which one?

So, I am making a mass order from either Musician's Friend or the local music store(we'll see), and decided to throw in an LP Jam Block with my order. However, I noticed that there are two of them: high pitched and low pitched. Don't tell me to get both(I'm not that rich), although eventually I probably will end up with both . My question is: which one would be the best one to start off with? They are both the same price according to Musician's Friend.

I got the low pitch one because I wanted it to sound more like a cross-stick snare type of sound. The high pitch one is more like a small woodblock.

I'd go with the low pitch, they are both pretty high pitched anyway.

Do you have a cowbell? it kind of sounds like one if you don't have one.

I like the red a lot, though they both sound fine. The Blast blocks are also a nice sound (yellow and green), I have the yellow. The blue can be almost too high pitched for me, but as a pair or 3, they complement each other well.

I'd say get the red. It is the most versatile if you can only afford one.
