    Default help restoring my proffesional DX series drum set

    Im trying to restore my drums. I was wondering if there is any finished wraps being made today that is like my wrap on my pearl proffesional DX series drum set? its like a disco ball.
    i attached a pic of it.
    any info would be great.

    pretty old.
    it was tod chesser's who died while surfing hawaii , a famous surfers drum set.
    but i just love how it sounds. great set.

    The wrap is a product called Mirror Flex. There are distributors in the US and the UK. It can get a little pricey, but it's well worth it if that's the look you're going for. Kit Kraft sell individual sheets at a decent cost and I believe US Plastics supply larger sheets. I believe the standard is 1/2" x 1/2" tiles, should be what are on your drums currently

    I'd recommend Flitz metal polish cream for cleaning up the hardware

    I’m currently working on my own mirrorball kit. Ordered sheets of 1”x1” mirrorflex from the UK, cutting them down to 1/2”x1/2” tiles with a tile cutter and lots of patience. Going to look great! I’ve wanted to do a mirrorball kit for 20 years now. Name:  DFED3F39-0356-4561-8336-53A8182908ED.jpg
