Whenever I use two floors, the second one winds up being a drink holder. Lol

I had four floor toms for a while. 16 and 18 from my Tama Rockstars, a 15 vintage Superstar I converted to a floor and an 18x20 Artstar I behemoth. Usually had three on the right and the 15 on the left. Since I play open handed it was never an issue for Ride cymbal placement. I really enjoyed the 18 and 20 for playing the end of The Call of Ktulu and also the intro to Among the Living. Two floors are the minimum. How else can you properly play Post Mortem or Hell Awaits? They will sound lame on a floor and a rack tom unison.

I'm sure they're fine drums, but "Basix" may be the worst name I've ever heard for, well... anything.

You´ve got right. They are original made by china - all birch shells with strong bass sound. Many years back when I bought them was best drums for 650 dolars.
