If it is like the powerstroke 3(with muffling ring) wont it sounded muffled abit? What about an St dry? Isn't it a two ply head with the vents in it?

    Tube lugs....Nice.

Loud, crisp, clear, yet with more warmth than a metal snare. It is so responsive. If you get a chance to pick one up ,do it! Andy has them on sale @ MASSMUSIC [if they're still in stock!]
What do you mean "unheralded" you meathead?!! I've heralded that drum on many occasions!

The ST dry does NOT have a muffling ring,so,although it is 2 ply,it is sensitive. It still maintains a ring, although not as prevalent as in a single ply...Tube lugs should be sweet.

I want to get some tube lugs for my sensitone, but I will have to wait until I have some extra cash to spend. For now, I want to work on the cymbal collection first hehe!
    Good decision.
