Josh, I do believe the " Winter" NAMM was canceled for January. Next scheduled is in June 2022.

As well as price increases across the board. If you've been wanting any specific gear, try to get it before it's out of stock or hiked in price!

So true! Pre-ordered and payed for a couple of drums from Gretsch last June however, don't expect shipment to May. I'm guessing all drum equipment will most likely be experiencing price increases like most other products!

I guess I was more or less just excited about new products. Are they canceling new products too? I hope not.

I’d love to see Pearl kick up the Export and Decade line. Maybe add a few lugs to the floor toms and throw some Super Hoops on them. It’s crazy to me how frowned upon the Vision series was back in the day (2007?), but looking back, they were so well made compared to the Decades that basically took their place. The new Exports and Decades are on par with older Forum series drums imho.

I’m always excited to see the new snares they have to offer.

I’d love to see some more big crashes from Zildjian, 21” and 22” are great…

It’s crazy to me how frowned upon the Vision series was back in the day (2007?), but looking back, they were so well made compared to the Decades that basically took their place. The new Exports and Decades are on par with older Forum series drums imho.

I'm sure the various drum, percussion and cymbal manufacturers as well as all musical instruments will advertise "pimp" there new products via websites for 2022 regardless of the cancelation of NAMM 2022

My friend had some original birch visions and that kit blew me away with how well it was put together and how good it sounded. Those kits were crazy value for the money. His was a cool transparent black fade too, it looked great.

exactly .. That series was just basically a pro kit priced at value IMO.. The did not cheap out on parts like the spurs, floor tom brackets.... lugs etc.. Go compare the parts on a Decade Maple to a Vision . LOL

I'd love to see Pearl discontinue the Decade's entirely. That entire product line is a black stain on their reputation IMO.
