Default Changing it Up a Bit

So rather spontaneously, I decided to “Nicko” my ride and add my cable hat back into the mix. Who knows if this will stay, but the ride position is actually pretty comfortable. We’ll see how my wrist and shoulder react after our next two rehearsals.

EDIT: and of course two of the pics are sideways. Can’t we PLEASE do something about this mods? Ugh.
Anyway, you guys get the point.

I like the Nicko ride positioning.

    What ride is that?
What was your experience with the HH Power bell?

This is the 21” HH Raw Bell Dry Ride.

The Power Bell is amazing but… limited.

    Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lol

That set up simply won’t fit in the space I have.

Changing your set up is half the fun of drumming.

If we didn’t have so much gear in the room, I’d absolutely have the two kicks set up.

Looks awesome! Chad Szeliga had a very similar ride position as well. What mic are you running on the kick?

I did that for a little bit, ala Danny Carey. I did get a little fearful of key holing my RBDR, though, and didn't keep it that way long.

Yeah, it does put weight on the hole.

And that is what she said.
