That last post isn’t actually connected to the gong bass.

I could but I wanted the gong drum further to my right.

Interesting set up. I can't see anything mounted to the inward curved bars. The back right snare might be better set up on that far back right leg (that holds the HHX) using a Gibraltar clamp and snare basket.

With the crossbars so low, I like the extra stability that 2 crossbars give. I had them both curved out initially, but liked the look a bit better with one going in. Yeah I never figured out how I could get the snare on the rack yet.

Very cool drums. Nice, roomy practice space.

And here I thought my setup was tight.

Very nice setup and colour choice (paint those rocket toms!).

What cymbal is going to be going on the empty cymbal stand over the ride?

I have my eye on a 20 inch hhx complex crash, going to move the ozone crash in that place by the ride , and the 20 there. At least that’s the plan.

It was getting pretty crowded around the gong drum mount, so I picked up a short horizontal bar so I could push things out a bit. I also cut down one of the gong legs and mounted it on the rack. I used the offcut to do a bump out of the rack. I think it cleans it up a bit, but wonder if I should bump it out on the other side so it is symmetrical. Still haven’t painted the rocket toms haha
