    Default Back in the Saddle

Greetings! I signed up with a new account back in 2016, and just after that my wife was diagnosed with cancer. We went through that ordeal, and she died in 2018. A year later in 2019, our oldest daughter was diagnosed, and after going through it she died in June 2020. So over a year has passed now, and I thought it was time to get back in the saddle. So I wanted to give a quick shout out to the drumming community. 😊

Deepest condolences MM, and welcome back.

If you're the reading kind, I'd highly recommend Neil Peart's book Ghost Rider, its something that touches deeply on the grieving process and how music can be a source of solace.

I can’t imagine. It was hard enough going through all the family members I lost in 2020 and now friends in ‘21, but losing my wife & daughter instead 300X worse. Ugh.
