    Default Improving the setup

I love a great challenge so I am slowly improving this set. I love the crisp sound of birch drums so I went with the Vision series. I also love the beauty of wood in its natural colors so the Natural finish just made sense. Looking at modern drumming and the seeming ambidextrous capability if the more talented players (not me) I wanted to do a symmetrical setup. So, without further ado, here is what she has gotten to so far!

She is still a work in progress. I am in search of a 13" mounted tom and a 14" floor tom so if anyone knows of one or knows someone that knows someone that knows someone please PM me.

The nexts steps are to build all matching Cajon pedals, matching all clear Remo tom heads, two new front matching 22" bass drum clear heads with red Drum Os, Kelly Shus and Sledgepads, red Cympads for accents, a second remote hit with some type of Sabians, then a full tune up. Its the details that count now!!!!!

Amazing monster. Would have the first clue where to start!

Just FYI, it’s “without further ADO”.

Although that's way too many drums for a casual drummer like me, I have a soft spot in my heart for natural finish. Your vision kit looks great.

Looks cool! Are the smaller bass drums for show only? Also what kind of sounds are you triggering on those 2 concert toms on the top tier in the back?

    Damn! Very impressive kit!

Although I have to say though as the owner of a 7-piece kit, I do not envy you when itís head changing day.

Love it! I'm a sucker for big kits. Looks like a bunch of fun to play. The natural wood finish looks great, enjoy!

What the.... Are you in a Dream Theatre tribute band?

I would have no idea how to play that monster of a kit without mimic Neil Peart if I could. Have fun with it for sure.
