    Default Gretsch Renown Walnut inside!

A couple of days ago, I snagged a deal on a 6pc Renown Walnut kit. Shout out to fell PDF member croomz for sharing the link. I've always wanted a walnut Renown ever since they were discontinued. This one is finished in nat to black fade and is outfitted with die cast hoops. This will hold me over until my exotic cherry/mahogany DW build gets completed lol.

    The sizes are below.

5x14 piano black renown maple snare
    7x10
    8x12
    14x14
    14x16
    16x20

This is my first time owning and playing a 20" bass drum as well. It packs quite a punch to be such a small size. The only blemish is a small spider web crack in the clear coat about the size of a nickel on the bass drum. You can't see it unless your right up on the shell. Aside from that, these drums look brand new and don't even have any pedal rash. The drums also came outfitted with brand new Remo drum heads.

Pictures below. Note: slight shipping mishap and the legs for the 14" floor tom were left out of the packaging. The store is shipping them to me so I can only setup a 5pc for now.

Man there's something about that kit I really, really like. You always have great setups too.

If/when you sell it, dm me and I might take it off your hands

Personally, I much prefer this kit over any DW you've shown. Tell us more about the sound?

You should consider hanging onto those drums.

What a kit, something really special about walnut drums for sure. Dark and woody sounding drums in my experience. One of my go-to snares is still my trusty old Natal walnut stave.

Those look great and I'm sure they sound even better! Definitely a nice way to keep yourself busy while you wait on your exotics!
