Help me nail this down Poll inside

Trying to come to some kind of decision here on this finish. I like them all equally and would be happy with any of them really but I guess when it comes down to it, it's really hard to choose. At times, I like one more than the other and think I have it figured out, then I walk by and a different one draws my eye. HW will be black nickel.

I put my vote down. Looked at the samples again. And changed it at the last minute.

Purple fade on reso side. Bubinga grain.

But now I'm curious what a burst would look like with orange center to purple top and bottom?

If you go with violet, bubinga would be my choice - the figuring shows through really well in both pics but the limba looks like it only comes alive when looking at it dead on like the second pic. Scuba blue in black limba would be my second choice; more subdued but really works with the figuring.

So far only 1 vote for scuba blue. I'm sure there will be people that think these finishes are hideous but I honestly couldn't be happier. Tom has a few details to send to the factory on my behalf regarding the violet options. If I choose scuba blue, I wouldn't change anything. If I go violet, I suggested that the color could get really deep and vibrant (to the point that the figuring isn't visible anymore) just on the outside of the hoop edge and alll the way to the bearing edge. I also told him I want the fade to alter in height around the shell (not a lot) to eliminate that 2 tonish look that some fades exhibit. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Tangerine to purple fade

Agreed. As someone who much prefers wraps, even I think the tangerine/purple combo is freaking killer. Purple on the batter side, tangerine on reso; like a flame burning blue at the top.

I also like the limba a lot more than the bubinga. I’ve seen the bubinga too many times.

seeing as you're going with black chrome, I think the blue will work the best. If you were going with regular chrome, I'd go the the right-side, tangerine to purple over limba. (which is what I'd go for personally)

I considered what kick drum hoops I’d want facing out the most. In this case, I think it’d look the coolest with the fully finished purple hoops facing out over a white reso head. I went with the purple bubinga fade with the purple on the reso side.
