    Default Tempro Pro Branded Pearls

I saved these drums from the roadside. After research I discovered that they are Pearls from the late 60's. Here is a little challenge.

The Pearl kit is in the catalogs that are posted on Pearls website, see if you can find them. Hint: the pedals are "Speed Pedal".

Let me know if you find them.

It's a Japanese stencil kit made by Pearl

    Rocking',

I already know what the drums are. I was attempting to spark a little adventure in the forum.

    Nice pickup!

I reckon you're thinking they are the same as 1969 Thunderking's.
I can see why, with the pedals in particular.

If your kick is 20", they could also be NC series drums up to 1972ish.

Nothing in the vintage era, when it comes to Pearl drums, is really cut and dried because there were so many stencil brands, and a bunch of them used off the shelf Pearl parts like lugs, yet others had seemingly custom made components.

See if you can find a 72 catalogue...

You are correct. They look like the same kit as the Pearl Thunderking's. I'll have see if I can find the catalogs you speak of. Bass drum is indeed 20"

Sweet rig. Sad how someone could just
throw out a drum set. Looks like the drums
are in good shape for their age. Well done.

The bass drum in the middle was a Telestar that I sold cheap.

A criminal act of negligence leaving that kit on the roadside like that!
