One of my favourite truisms is that Copenhagen would be the perfect city be a cyclist in, if not for all the other cyclists; Most people ride with their heads up their arse (or their eyes on their phone). I used to be the same way until I took my driver's licence, and realised how dangerous it was to ride without lights, disregard the traffic rules, not reading the traffic etc.
9/10 of the times when I have found myself in a dangerous situation have been the fault of another cyclist. The last one is split between myself, and inattentive drivers.

In other news, I went to a concert last night for the first time in almost 1˝ year . A klezmer band playing at the opening of a new venue for acoustic music, just around the corner from my place.
    A view from the balcony:

New music venue? That looks like it could be a 300-year old palace in southern France.

It's a late 18th century mansion, which until a few years ago housed the city museum, and has just recently become a music venue.

How are the acoustics? Did those 18th century architects know how to squeeze good sound out of such an ornate room?

kids disrupt everything 100% of the time. I can't understand why anyone would want one when you can get a dog instead.
