GMS 6.5 x 14 Grand Master Vintage Maple with re-rings and tamo ash veneer ‘03

GMS 5.5 x 14 Grand Master Maple with solid black finish & black hardware and one chrome rim ‘93

GMS 8 x 14 Grand Master Super Vintage Maple with re-rings, rounded edges, and wood hoops ‘15

Column 2:

Pork Pie 5 x 12 Maple with black lugs and green wood grain finish ‘99

GMS 6.5 x 14 Revolution Maple with aluminum finish inside & outside ‘15

Jenkins-Martin 6.5 x 14 Blaemire Fiberglass with Dunnett strainer ‘10’s

GMS 6.5 x 14 Grand Master Tempus Fiberglass with blue sparkle finish ‘00’s

Premier 8 x 14 Resonator 2005 Birch with white finish ‘87 (This drum survived a fire that all but burned the rest of the kit to the ground)

GMS 6.5 x 14 Global Oak, Willow, & Bubinga stave shell ‘00’s (I really want this drum back)

So I’m pondering: what is the threshold for a “collection”? 10? 15? Do my paltry 5 snares cut it?

I think 5 is a collection. I think after 10 it’s an obsession. I’m close because I still want a TAMA 8 x 14 ‘04 bubinga, Brady 8 x 14 Jarrah, and possibly others of different materials be it brass, aluminum, rosewood, or even solid gold.

In all seriousness, it gets to the point of being ridiculous and I am almost there.

Nice collection Dale! The standouts for me are the GMS Tamo/Maple and the GMS Aluminum/Maple... both very nice looking (and I bet sounding) drums.
