Default Pearl Masterworks Black Mist Burst Over Natural Maple

Original post with specs can be found in my sig. Made a few changes to the set-up/rack configuration since then and added some new cymbals. Also swapped out the MW snare for my free floater in these pics. Currently rocking a Reference 13" x 6.5" in Purple Craze, which I'll have to get pics of at some point.

    New Pies:
    8" AAX Aero Splash
    17" AA Holy China
    18" HHX Fierce Crash
    18" AAX Thin Crash
18" AAX O-Zone Crash (already owned, was in storage)
21" HHX Raw Bell Dry Ride

Also switched from my Eliminator Redline (belt) single pedal back to my Demon Drive (direct drive) double pedal after buying a new Trick driveshaft.

Lastly, loving the new Carmichael throne top with Roc N Soc backrest. I kept the base of my Pearl D-1000SP throne and so glad I did. The spring post + backrest + new Carmichael throne top makes for a hell of a comfy seat. My back thanks me

In saying that, I am aware of the recent controversy surrounding Danny's recent comments. I in no way condone/support them, and had already purchased this throne top well before. Although I disagree with the man, I can't dispute the quality of the product and the difference it's made in my comfort level while playing.

Anyways, pics below. More to come

HOLY F***. That is absolutely GORGEOUS and is making me think about going back to a single kick set up. Wow.

That was an EPIC thread and I commend the mods for not shutting it down right away. Many things were said that opened a LOT of eyes, both positively and negatively.

Beautiful rig. Satin hardware takes it over the top.

See, I would prefer black nickel (or black) on that finish. Not that it looks bad by any stretch.

I can see that, especially the black nickel. I really like the satin and I think it looks better in person than in the pics, but black nickel would definitely be a contender if I had ordered this brand new myself.
