Well, yesterday I said goodbye to my Udrum Brass snare. It’s been in the family for a few years now and I absolutely loved it, but it was time for something new and something a bit more custom for me. I sold it to one of my very food friends, so it’ll be around if I ever decide I miss it and want to play it.

I just ordered my lugs and strainer, just gotta get a few more things together and then I’ll be getting the ball rolling for real and I’m very excited. Lugs are the Tama MSL-36 and I’ve got a nice Trick strainer coming as well.

Second bass drum has been estimated for early November, but that may be further pushed back still. I’ve got some shows in late November that I’m trying to use both kicks for, so we’ll see what happens.

Playing some shows out of state with my band this week. Here’s a quick pic of the Starclassic B/B rig. These drums sound phenomenal and I’m really happy that I get to bounce between these and my maples. They definitely have some different characteristics but both sound amazing. Nice Mitch, I've always liked that finish and BBs are great sounding and feeling shells.
