Nice looking kit Al! To my understanding is the Artisan series a painted veneer like a simulated wood grain?

Real veneer outer ply from western Africa I believe.

But we can do Artisan 2 simulated veneers and digital reproduction on request.

Love the sizes - I'd have probably gone one further and swapped out the 13x11 for a 14x11, though as I'm understanding if the 13 has a low enough fundamental tone/note, you can tune it to sound the same as a 14 without getting that "wowwww" effect from the head(s)

No, not my kit, just one I came up with finish and sizes (for a MW Team building exercise). I wanted it to be classy but with the power tom sizes of the 80's and early 90's.

Mission Accomplished. The Remo Smoked colour-tones are a nice touch too.
