Lonny is sitting next to me reading his Red Glass thread.
I only wish I was part of this thread during Lonny's life as I now realize the strong positive impact he had on you all! May his memories live with you guys and gals always and I love the fact that his thread continues to inspire all drummers and sports fans alike!

Paul, I too hope faith and family will get you all through the tough season you are in.

What a great time visiting Pearl HQ and talking with the men who make it happen, Lonny would indeed be chuffed about that let alone that he was in the conversations.

From the distant rock I live on I listen to sports radio but don't have the ability to watch it. I visited my parents and my dad was watching one of the earlier Dodgers vs Giants games live, and I honestly thought of Lonny. Very small world sometimes.

My wife Karen & I would like to thank all of you for words of comfort concerning my Moms hospice care. On Friday October 15th at 2:30 pm she left this world,Catherine was 83 years old.
I was holding her hand and told her how much I loved her and that it was ok to go to god. It was so heartbreaking but she doesn’t have to suffer anymore.

This experience was so painful to the point where we were close to breaking down emotionally but God was there to help us through.

My heartfelt condolences, bud. It's okay to break down and not be okay for awhile.

    Hey Jeff,

It's great to see you back on the PDF, and here in the Red Glass MCX thread.
It has almost been a year since we learned about Lonny's passing. PDF member Feenix was the first person to report this information from either Lonny's Facebook page, or from Facebook groups that Lonny was active with. (He would have to fill in any details in that regard.)

While I'm not sure exactly what took Lonny from us, I know that we all miss his generous and wonderful presence here in the world. We honor Lonny in the best way that we can, by continuing the spirit of camaraderie that he fostered here in his Red Glass MCX threads.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I just wanted to wish everyone here on the Red Glass MCX thread and the PDF a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving today or not, it's always wonderful to take a moment to be grateful for all that we have. The ability to share with those who are less fortunate and with those that we love should be celebrated everywhere everyday.
