Great player. Great kit. Great cause. But a gut-churning finish.

So, they just toss the snare on the floor as if it is rubbish?

one of the ugliest kits I've seen. Brutal.

That kit doesn’t deserve that finish. Whoever chose and/or ok’d that abomination must’ve been HAMMERED.

I can't say i'm huge on the finish but I can see what they were trying to achieve. IMO it was a bit of a take on the rat rod craze among fans of old trucks and cars. Making it look weathered and aged, but with shiny chrome bumpers and wheels. I've definitely seen worse looking drum kits but its one of those marmite finishes for sure. It is growing on me somewhat, but would I own a kit that finish? Nope.

There are some finishes that just don’t translate well to Drums, and this is a Prime example. Hideous!

Totally polarizing, I get it. But, I'm going to have to go against the tide. This finish is gorgeous!

However, my wallet agrees with the rest of everyone here.

I'm impressed with your ability to see the influence. Even so, it just strikes me as an art-deco camoflage.

Of course, bidding started at 1,000 UKpounds and ended up at 8,100 UKpounds. Seems like a successful charity auction!
