This hurts me the way Neil Peart's passing hurt a whole lot of people.

Going to break out Human and give it a listen. Been too long. Huge loss to the
Metal community. My heart goes out to his husband, family and close friends.
Seems like 2020 is getting off to a very rocky start.

Not all that familiar with the genre but this dude was very obviously a HUGE influence on many drummers.

As praise-worthy as his playing with Death and Cynic most certainly are, and I do encourage you to give both a listen, it was his playing with Gordian Knot that really struck me.

This is a massive loss. I dropped my phone when I read it. I thought it was a cruel joke or that I was in a really bad dream. I had Human & Focus going on repeat the weekend that this happened.

I'm glad that I was able to see him and the Human line up peform as "Death" during the second run of Death to All! RIP Sean.
