    Dale, I’m not really sure what point you’re trying to make, if any. Obviously, your list includes the big boys in the business, but I’m sure that making percussion equipment is not the primary focus of many of the other companies. When I first saw 1009, I must admit that it seemed high, but with a world population of about 7.7 billion and 1009 companies, that’s about one company for every 7 million people. All of a sudden, it doesn’t seem that high.

    And .01% of that 7 mil are drummers. Suddenly, it’s seems high again.

    You’re saying that one out of every 10,000 people is a drummer.
    1% = 1 out of a hundred
    .1% = I out of 1,000
