    Don't say it..... I hate the starcast system. I love tama drums but the one reason I would never get one is their mounting system. I hope Pearl doesn't shoot themselves in the foot and go that direction.

    completely agree. I haven't been excited by a new product in a long time. Maybe the Atlas mount?

    I think the Atlas stuff was the last real innovative product to come out in the drum world. Everything else is just a reskin of something we've had before.

    Ditto on the excitement part - about as close as I got was the new version of the Sessions I now own, and there only because I was one email away from ordering a masterworks kit in almost the exact same wood combination....so I saved a few grand, got a great looking and excellent sounding kit. The new rack bits from Pearl last year were decent enough so got a little excited about those as well.....but nothing really new and groundbreaking....

    Pearl, Natal, Ludwig, Tama, Slingerland, Premier Drums
    Zildjian, Sabian, Zyn Cymbals
    PEARL, LUDWIG, TAMA, YAMAHA, NATAL and DW Snares

    Roland, Dauz, FAT KAT and Koby Electronics, and loads of Percussion

    4 Kits and 8 Snares, and I still don't have enough!
