now, if they release a nice 9 or 10x14 tom ....i might be very interested..

    anything else happen out there?

I have no confirmation on that, and we probably won't get one, but it makes sense.....
I thought the same thing, though it appears the shells are coming from Drum Foundry/ Black Swamp.

The dropping of the logos from the centre is really off putting

Agreed, I'm not a fan of the centre mount, but a smaller badge placed above the band would've looked far nicer.

That would be nice if they're cheaper. Then I can have a backup pedal for a gig or second kit with the same cam as my regular Elim, and not have to worry about it feeling completely different. Right now, my backup is an IC, and it doesn't feel the same at all. Both pedals feel great, but they're different animals.

EDIT: Didn't see the reply that stated they were gonna be $100 less. Freakin sweet!

To me, it would just look better across the top of the lugs, in line with the rims. Now you have a piece of metal going across the shell? Boooo!

I didn't even notice that at first. This is super dumb. Only pro would be that you could change the head while it's still on the stand... not sure why you'd want to but it'd be an option.

    not really,
theirs some kind of dial that allows you to muffle or sum thin...I'll probably never use it in general, they look less flimsy then there old method, which i am not a fan of.

well this is similar to drum company in massachusetts's method of tom mounting
..noble & cooley so, yeah which is prolly why i like it so ,
lol. the idea of cradling the tom on the mount rather then hanging said tom off of 2 points on the single post lugs appeals to me ,finally looks more secure, like it could take a furious tom hit .

I have to admit, this is probably the first Nicko kit that I like visually.
