Default My kit for the latest your with The Flower Kings

Guys, just back from the european tour with The Flower Kings, supporting our latest album "Waiting For Miracles" (which has been surprisingly nominated for one Swedish Grammy!).

Here some random pics of the ki i've used-

It's a Tama Superstar Classic Maple exotic finish (PJBP)
    22x16 (with tom mount which i haven't used tho), 8x6, 10x7, 12x8 rack toms, 14x12, 16x14 floor toms.
Oriollo custom 14x4,5 in hammered spun brass + one Oriollo custom aluminium timbale 10x5,5
Tama bronze piccolo side snare 12x3
    2 octobans
one custom short bass drum 20x6

Istanbul agop cymbals, Remo drumheads, Vic Firth drumsticks, Meinl & LP percussions

Hardware is a mix of Tama and Gibraltar (rack) items, with some Sonor and Pearl clamps here and there.
Tama hi hat stand and Speed Cobra double pedal

You can spot our Matt Cowan (@ Thursh ) who has kindly helped me during the London concert (tech, load in/out)- Thanks man !

Many thanks for having me, Mirkko - was great to meet you, more than happy to help out and the show was terrific. Make no mistake people, this guy is a SERIOUS player!

To the kit, things I can tell you: those Tama drums are light! Maybe it's because I'm used to the weight of my CZX (I'd just moved them a few days before) but holy moly these things are light! That Oriollo snare has some real bite - loads of power and projection. The rocket toms/octobans really pop, and the Yamaha gong drum at the back has some hella big low-end - mic'd up and EQ'd in the mix, that thing drops to sub-bass levels: it's almost like an 808 drop! Overall, the kit sounded great. Band was super tight, and the whole thing was a pleasure to watch from the FoH desk

Next time you're in town, don't hesitate to give me a shout - if I'm free, I'll come load in and out with you. Even if I had only had 3hrs sleep in the previous 26

    22", 22", 8", 10", 12", 13", 14", 16", 18"

oh man, thank you for your kind words and your help-

BTW that's not a Yamaha gong tom, just the hardware looks like that (the mount is a Yamaha) but it's a custom made by Italian CVL.
