    Default Canopus Drums

Does anyone on here play them? DCP has a bunch of their kits and they all look and sound really nice. Their Ash kit will be my next set of drums I think, they sound like Oak on steroids.Name: canopus .jpg

One of my great friends and tutors, jazz and touring session drummer Darren Beckett is an endorsee, from hearing him play them, those things sing. https://canopusdrums.com/en/endorsers/darren_beckett/
Pearl, Natal, Ludwig, Tama, Slingerland, Premier Drums
    Zildjian, Sabian, Zyn Cymbals
PEARL, LUDWIG, TAMA, YAMAHA, NATAL and DW Snares

Roland, Dauz, FAT KAT and Koby Electronics, and loads of Percussion

4 Kits and 8 Snares, and I still don't have enough!

I have been watching a lot of their videos, I love all their kits. I am hoping to trade my DW's in for the Ash kit, if the deal works I will get them this weekend.

It may or may not matter to you, but the Canopus Ash snare drums are not all Ash... they are Ash and Poplar. Same thing with their Ash kits. In their marketing jargon, they compare these drums to vintage guitars made of Ash, yet the guitars were solid Ash bodies, and these drums are not.

It doesn't bother me, the 2 go well together. These drums sound great.
