I think most drummers go big at home, to be honest. Nobody likes to carry big kits to gigs.

    Yes. Resoundingly, yes.

Hmm, I currently rock standard hats on my left and a remote on the right. I do have static hat attachment and a third pair of hihat cymbals I could jam into the kit somewhere, though I'm unsure if I'd really use them. I'll have to look into that, because why not?

Funny thing is I think I did the two big holz on the bottom of a clear bass drum reso on one of my kits; will have to dig that photo up. There's a reason clear bass heads aren't widely seen; aesthetically, they're a step below chrome heads. As a past guitarist said when I went from a very unorthodox setup to a more 'standard' setup, "one billion drummers can't be wrong, man."

You're a stickler for detail - doesn't the 10:00 Evans logo on the left bass drum make you a little nuts?
Wow. Iím not sure even I have that pic anymore.

And yes, the Evans logo IS driving me nuts.

Moved the aux hats. Actually really comfortable where they are now.

Eric Singer Sig. Totally sentimental for me.

Pipe cutters are your friend as well.

Nice bit of pipe trimming there. Looks way better.

I like that position for the aux hats ever since I saw it on Chris Adlers kit. Kinda makes it a mirror of the left side - well, except for Chris who insists on putting his left side hats in a different zip code to the rest of the kit....

I love chris but that ALWAYS bothered the T*** off me. Like, obviously it works for him and he’s chris Adler and I’m not but still... why?

you need longer boom arms for the splashes. Those 3 footers aren't cutting it.

Why not use the two upright post to mount the splash cymbals on straight stands? It would save you a couple clamps that could be used for something else. Like use one of those clamps to clamp an upside down tom arm and clamp that to your hi-hat stand and completely fold up the legs.

And yes the Evans logo is destroying the vibe.

    Looks fantastic otherwise.

You know when clear Reso's on kicks look cool? When there's a clear batter and you are looking straight through it and can see the drummers foot working the pedal. Other than that ... Yuk!

I think the white looks good. Sophisticated. Black would make it more bad - *****. But is that what you are looking for?

Get some flat black spray paint and some flat gray spray paint ( if that's a white textured Reso head ) and paint a fine mist fade on those puppies!

Black bottoms, gray middles and leave the top alone.
