Yes, it is satin HW. I’ve already trimmed 6” off of all but two of the vertical tube legs. They’re needlessly tall. What id really like to do is trim three of the four horizontal square bars. They are WAY too long. Too much wasted space on either side of the kicks. But from what I can tell, that is a pretty large undertaking involving table clamps, hacksaws, drills and hammers.

Thanks Al!
I've had those Rocket Toms since they were called "Quarter Toms". Got them used from the LIDC in Nyack, NY in... '95?

Damn fine set up, sir.
Thought is I'd have imagined you would have learned from your mistakes...
Funny thing is I think I did the two big holz on the bottom of a clear bass drum reso on one of my kits; will have to dig that photo up. There's a reason clear bass heads aren't widely seen; aesthetically, they're a step below chrome heads. As a past guitarist said when I went from a very unorthodox setup to a more 'standard' setup, "one billion drummers can't be wrong, man."
You're a stickler for detail - doesn't the 10:00 Evans logo on the left bass drum make you a little nuts?
My mother always tells me to smile and put on a happy face.
I had three pairs at one point - standard left side hi hat stand, right side remote pedal, and a static/aux pair on the left of the main left hats too. Why? Because why not! I had the hardware and the cymbals, so figured I might as well. I had a Tama Cobra Clutch on the remote pedal, a drop clutch on the main left hats (with a spring under the top cymbal to give that sloshy semi-open sound, and the aux pair on the left were set to tight shut
