Default I Found the Second Kick!

Iím fairly certain that Iíve finally used every piece of equipment I own. Actually, thatís not true- the 14x11 is still in its case. Still have some trimming and cutting to do but I LOVE this set up.

Third pair of hats (fixed) overlapping the ride above the right kick, mirroring the left side, would set it off for me

I may move them there regardless. Three sets of hats would be over the top even for this ridiculous set up.

Awesome setup, but get that 14" tom as a left side floor tom.

Would TOTALLY get in the way of the most important piece of gear on the kit:

I’m thinking of going with clear resos on the kicks.

    Thoughts?

If DOTM was still active, I think Your Set Up would Win. Clear Resoís would look good. (Think Simon Philips). BTW, what head are you putting on the pearl Table? G1 or 2

I’m thinking G1. Want as much tone and resonance out of it as possible.

Looks sweet. Is that satin hardware? Also, what are you planning on trimming/cutting?

IMO clear resonant kick heads are hard to pull off aesthetically. If you go clear keep it clean/simple. No logo, no pillows/blankets inside. Otherwise it looks cluttered/sloppy to me.

I used an old clear batter head for a bit out of necessity, but I actually like how it looked. I need new heads for my Yamaha's, and I am contemplating a clear kick reso. https://i.imgur.com/Asc8Rcm.jpg
