[Why not use the two upright post to mount the splash cymbals on straight stands? It would save you a couple clamps that could be used for something else. Like use one of those clamps to clamp an upside down tom arm and clamp that to your hi-hat stand and completely fold up the legs.

I a) prefer using the clamps and b) have a profusion of them to use. I have nothing else to mount.

The legs of the HH are as closed as they’re ever going to get. The pedal is in a perfect spot for my foot. The HA-100 does its job as advertised.

Was gonna say more but I've fallen somewhat silent and short on words as of late. Should get an RH2050 for those aux hats.

These just look really empty and the splashes appear to be directly above them anyway. Couple straight stands would clean up the over all look of the rack. IMO . Your kit though so do as you please.

Just stupidly busy, one of the music projects fell through and then lost half my IT staff at work so I'm literally doing work I haven't done in 20 years. Along with looking for a new job. ;-)

    “Empty”?

It’s the perspective of the photo. They don’t cover the toms at all.

No idea why the photo posted like that.

No, Yo! Not directly over the toms. I mean the splashes appear to be directly over the icon upright tubes.
