    Default Need more cowbell...stability.

This is a small issue but has been driving me nuts. I have a L-rod holder for my cowbell that places it right between my two rack toms. It lasts about 3 seconds of hitting before the clamp on the cowbell loosens and it slides down to where it rests on the hoop of one of the the toms.

Any pro tips on how to better secure this?

I thought of a sleeve that would keep it from sliding down, but the real issue is that the clamp doesn't hold for *****. Yeah, with a sleeve, it may stay up, but it will still be loose and spin this way & that.

A Pearl DC627AN Stock lock should do the trick! Put it right under the cow bell. tightens with a drum key.
