Default Newbie here with a broken throne

How does a Pearl Roadster D2500 drum throne break? Out of ANYTHING that could fail in my life, this isn't even conceivable? it's never left my basement, I weigh 190 pounds. WTF? This thing should have a LIFETIME warranty if it isn't on the road.

I can kinda explain it. The vertical post busted loose from the circular housing it's nested in. You can't make any adjustments with the tiny hex screws to keep it snug.

I don't know, I never post in this forum, However this is awful. I've had it maybe 5 years.

From what you described, it sounds like the problem is with the collar assembly, which from what I just read is only warranted for one year. The rest of the throne is warranted for life. You really need to provide a picture.
