    Default Clap track...finger snaps etc

    Gents...and ladies.
I am looking for a relatively inexpensive solution to give me the opportunity to strike a drum pad and have it trigger sou ds like clapping hands...finger snaps...whistles etc. I know about octopads etc but I don't want to spend that kind of cash...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
My wife says I am no longer permitted to buy any more drums...I said okay you cant buy any more shoes...we are presently at an impasse! I see drums...she sees shoes!

You may be able to find a cheap Roland module and pick up a Roland BT-1 bar trigger. Pretty much what it’s made for- claps, etc.

Roland TM2, perfect thing for the job. Then a BT1/PD8 pad and you're away.

Look at the Roland SPD lineup for the pad/module combined into one. There are there models with preloaded sounds (and one slot for user-provided sounds). The SPD:One.WAV pad allows you to load all your own sounds as .WAV files. It doesn't have any preloaded sounds so I think it's the most versatile within the lineup.
