Default Mimic Pro with Tru Trac HH2 Hi Hat issue

We just purchased a Mimic Pro to replace our redbox at church and are having issues getting the hi hat to calibrate correctly. We have a Pearl Epro Live Kit. When we go to capture the open and closed position and the hi hat is fully open it is only at like 55 which is maybe 1/20th of the way up the bar on the left of the screen whereas on most videos I can find it should be at least 3/4 of the way up at like 900 something. When we close the pedal it is around 15. I went so far as to take the hi hat apart because I was concerned that there may be an issue with the hi hat itself, but I could not find anything. The resultant narrow gap between the open and closed hi hat seems to make it VERY sensitive and our drummers simply find it unplayable. Any help with this would be appreciated. I hope this makes sense...

I am super unimpressed with Pearl customer support. I am about to send this Mimic back if I cannot get some help and we will go a different route. I posted this 48 hrs ago and left a support ticket with Pearl. NO RESPONSE. This is truly pitiful. I am a keyboard player and have a studio and I have never found a company that has been this unresponsive. Pretty bad...

You need TRS cable, TS cable will make issue with low value, also Pearl Epro Live Kit hihat is single zone. Strongly recommended to upgrade to like Roland VH10 at least.
