Awesome! I’m kind of doing the same thing via Mr. Mangini. Such a beast.

Love that color combo and with the black heads and red lettering it is wicked. Would also love the see scarlet fade on the drum heads with black lettering at the top. Can't wait to see it all set up Stefan.

Me either. Just ordered 2400.00 worth of Zildjian cymbals. This kit is going to be SICK when I’m done.

I HATE triple flange hoops. They are ugly and your toms ring for days. I did ask for the tube lugs on my Ref kit and I was told no. I asked for Pearl Mastercast hoops on a Ref pure and was told no. So I went with the Reg Reference.

I think you made the right decision. I prefer die cast hoops for the exact reasons. I want my toms to make their statement and get out of the way; I don’t want them bleeding into the next drum.

Interesting enough, Mike Mangini released a video of his 2019 kit yesterday. While it is a Masterworks it’s still a Reference Kit. Pretty cool video.

Very impressive, I have had and liked Sig range cymbals in the past.

I’ve never played on Paiste, but Shane told me to go try some. Went to a store that has Meinl and Paiste and did some side by side comparisons. The Signature’s are just awesome. Some of the 2002’s were as well.

When you can play like MM, you can always get what you want. I’m going to see Dream Theater this coming Saturday. Super Stoked!
