    I agree with you on the usage part. They have a specific sound that you RARELY need.

    I habe had both Holy china amd Zildjian a ultra hammered. The ultra hammered is so loud and ear crushing, but at the same time really fresh I think. I have recorded a couple of times with it and it sounds great in the mix.
