    id like to throw the meinl equilibrium china
    the matt gartska sig (i prolly slaughtered that) he also has a sig stack,, that has a little china in it ..
    you asked quick and trashy right ? you might like the darkness of the meinls it more and loud chhh chhhh sound as opossed to chaahhh!!..lol

    that being said , my favorite china is the (now extinct) oriental china classic with wiiiide flange the same profile is found in the 19 inch niel peart paragon china , thats my number 2 but , in keeping with the rest or zildjian set up, im getting my number3 pics ...the 19 and 21 a heavy ultra- hammered chinas with the novo bells
    in a perfect world zildjian would re-release the o c classics in an a custom hammering pattern , THAT would be the [email protected]#

    OP, try out some wide flanged Chinas. They're typically less abrasive and more musical, not as loud either. The Paragon china is a great example, 2002 Novo China, and the HHX Zen China too.

    @2basses - If I had a ton of extra cash, I would definitely swipe up that meinl china. I do like the Paragon, as well.

    @Mitch - Those are some great suggestions. I do love the Novo.

    I have a HHX Zen China. It's nice, but not a China for rock. It's pretty relaxed with little cut. I'm thinking about adding rivets to it to make a swish China. It would be perfect for that.

    I agree.. Most do - that's the problem I'm having. The dead "clank!" makes my skin crawl. Give me that sizzle and then STFU!
