No clue but I know member JY Kelly would be interested.

One went second hand and lightly used at Highwood Drums in Wakefield back in march for £399, that seems a very fair price, but then again one went privately in January, again in excellent condition for £250, so depends how quickly you want to shift it. I would price around £350 and that leaves a bit of haggle room.

He would, but the trans-pond shipping would make it uneconomical

I don't know how different it is to ship from the U.K. to the states, but I know my parents usually send packages to our family in Austria and they've sent a 50lb box for under $100 before, so if it was the right deal I'm sure the extra little bit of shipping wouldn't be outrageous. I could be totally wrong. I usually just assumed shipping internationally for drums would cost an insane amount, and it might, but that thought just crossed my head. Worth looking into, maybe!

England is about the most expensive place to post from. a 50lb box (22kg in real money) could cost around $36 just to send domestic - internationally it'd be horrendous.

No idea on UK to the states, but I did post a Premier Pipe band snare (which is a ton weight) from England to Sweden last month and that only cost £15, so may be less than we think.

Thats amazing. Who was that with? I just posted a bottle (as in, a 330ml glass bottle) to Italy and it cost £12.65. That weighs less than a kilo (830g) including the packaging

I booked it through inter parcel, just economy and it got there within 4 days. Couldn't fault it (considering the box was about 17x17x17" by the time the drum had been bubble wrapped)
