    Default Black hardware!

    Hello!

So I purchased some black hardware from Pearl back in 2013. Since it was like their last batch of them (couldn't even get all the parts in black, namely the hihat stand and snare stands), nowadays it's utterly impossible to find them.

But, I want to add more cymbals to my setup and don't want to add lame chrome stands!

    HELP.

Looking at every brand right now, it looks like only MAPEX offers black stuff. What a weird realization in 2019.

Anyone got a lead on getting PEARL black hardware?

    Thanks in advance!

Been a bone of contention on this forum ever since it was discontinued. For those that bought into it it's a PITA because, as you say, you can't get any more to add to your set up, or replacements. Some are happy just to have black tom arms and floor tom legs, while other want the rest of the hardware to match.

Powder coating an option? I also have the black hardware as part of my Redline kit. Have managed to source two tom arms but stands are impossible.

I'm in the UK. Such things are... less simple over here.

There was a time when only artists could get customized gear and black hardware was one of those things that needed to be customized. I think sometimes being upset or simply frustrated about something like this is a bit silly to me. I think we forget we have as many options as we do.

Where are those options? I just went through 6 different manufacturer's websites and saw nothing but chrome except for MAPEX...

Good effort, thanks for trying... It's black alright. But it's straight...
I'm mostly looking for a boom arm. I have a 3-way clamp, and one boom arm.
    But two splashes.
The idea is to add the two splashes to the set up with the 3-way clamp, that I'm currently not using.
I'd need two boom arms though. I only have one :-(

May be a worthwhile buy anyway though incase it comes in use in the future, especially for £15.

Contact any custom drum company and I’m sure they can do it for you and if not, they could point you in the right direction.

Without that, people used to drool over my black on black GMS kit in ‘93 wishing they could have a kit as cool looking as mine. By ‘03 the entry level kits had black hardware.
