    Default Suggestion for Replacement Sticks

I really really like the black Steve Gadd sticks, but they are 15 3/4.

The barrel tip is a perfect size and I like the feel.....

Is there any other sticks out there that have a similar feel, weight and width and tip and are 16 inches.

In the meantime I am playing Regal 8a maple.

I've used the VF HD4 when I couldn't get the Gadd sticks, similar profile and tip to the Gadd's, but 15 7/8" so closer to the magic 16". I liked them, but prefer the natural finish Gadd's as I prefer the feel and balance to the black finish SG's and the HD4s .

1/4" is like 6mm isn't it? I'm pretty sure I'd not notice the difference of 6mm on a drum stick length

FWIW I'm using a Promark "Rebound" 5B with active grip, the rebound model has a nice balance and feel to it, the 5B is a good size and the active grip means its less slippery.
