    Default One more time around (new DW kit on the way)

    Back in January I placed an order for another DW Collector's Series SSC kit from the California Custom Shop. This was my 3rd time through the process, and after another tour of the Factory in January, I felt rather prepared. It's been 5 months and I just received this photo yesterday letting me know the drums will be done by the end of the month. Needless to say, I'm STOKED with the final product!

    Take a peek for yourselves.....

    I'm sure some will want to know specs, so here they are;

    DW Collector's Series SSC in Cherry Stain Lacquer to Black Burst over Exotic Mapa Burl w/Black Nickel Hardware

    7x8 X-Shell
    8x10 VLT
    9x12 VLT
    12x14 X- Shell Floor Tom
    13X15 X- Shell Floor Tom
    14x16 VLX Floor Tom
    18x22 VLX Virgin Kick
    6x14 VLT Snare

    I'll put some pics up once they arrive.....

    Thats gorgeous, I would've called the finish an 'Inferno burst', the black nickel hardware will look ace with it.

    If we still ran DOTM, this would win easily. Congrats on this beauty.
