Flyers for my Saturday gig. 5:00 inside slot. Suburban Rocket Launchers bringing the old man punk!
Going to see Chick Corea, Christian McBride, and Brian Blade perform their album "'Trilogy" tonight. I've been looking forward to this one for a long time. I consider Christian and Brian to be the best in the world at what they do and Chick Corea... his reputation speaks for itself.

Me too. I saw him in Chicago with his band a few years back and jumped on stage afterwards to talk to him. He was incredibly nice and humble and seemed to really enjoy talking to me, kind of the anti-Steve Smith haha. I love when you meet somebody who's that talented and they just have no ego at all. Really nice guy, really amazing player. He's probably my favorite drummer on the scene right now, he's just so creative and responsive, especially in those small group situations. The show was amazing of course, Christian McBride is such a beast on the upright bass.

Come on, Astros. Finish it off in NYC.
"Why is that mirror sneezing?"
"Ah, look, it's just an old, creaky mirror, y'know, sometimes it sounds a little like it's sneezing, or coughing, or talking softly."
