I think most of us amateur gigging drummers quickly come to that conclusion. No one but other drummers notice gear anyway.

Thanks! Yeah, english/american/nisse (look it up, "the julekalender"). That sound system is amazing, and a huge place to play (takes around 400 people).

Who was the guy that used to post in here ALL the time that had a ton of older Ludwig kits and ran sound for a living? I think he’s from Texas.

I regularly gigged with a 7 piece kit....3 up, 2 down, cymbals everywhere, electronics....could set up/tear down in about 15 minutes....the rack helped a ton....the new kit I'd never gig with but when we start playing out against the music we're working on, I'll gig using a modified version of the Session config with my Visions and another rack...

    Erwinner (aka: Elec)

I knew him when I was in college and last bumped into him around 2014/2015 I think? I was back in town recruiting for my company at the time. He relocated to a different city in Texas a few years ago, I think he's in a different line of work now.

That’s why I quit growing up. I got to 5’8 and called it quits.
