No more barreling or takeout slides. Ever since Buster Posey got hurt, everyone has been super sensitive to protect their stars. Utley as a Dodger took out some SS on a double play ball. His slide was off the line, but his hand could reach the bag. Too much money invested in these guys to actually allow them to play the game.

Let’s go Beatles, here we go! Let’s go Beatles, here we go!

He can’t hit, he can’t hit, swing drummer.

You suck, Ringo! Go home and practice! You couldn’t hit a drum if it was sitting in between your legs.

A buddy of mine (who's also a longtime member here) is starting a new job today. He arrived at 7:55 and has been waiting for an hour for his new boss, or anyone from his department, to come and collect him from the lobby.

Anyone else have any bad first day of work stories?
    "Why is that mirror sneezing?"

"Ah, look, it's just an old, creaky mirror, y'know, sometimes it sounds a little like it's sneezing, or coughing, or talking softly."

They've been showing clips for the CNN show Apollo 11. My favorite part is when the jettison the bass drum!

I got a really bad sunburn on my first day ever being a lifeguard.
