Shell Interior Coatings
What are the differences, sonically, of fiberglass vs. carbon fiber on the interior of the shell?

Fiberglass:
is a nonporous strong fiber material that was used in the 70's and 80's. It thin but super strong material that projected with brilliant high notes and deep low notes.
Carbon Fiber:
The Carbon Fiber Masterworks is a 6-ply Maple shell 5.4mm with an inner and outer ply of Carbon Fiber. These are great drums for volume and projection - most Carbon Fiber kits have a lot of highs and attack because of the Maple inner core these drums have added warmth coupled with all the good characteristics of Carbon Fiber!
