Keep hunting, the TT FFs do pop up every now and then. I probably paid more than I wanted to for mine, but when it became available, I had to jump on it.

Whats up guys? Been a while. Figured this would be a cool thread to say hello and show my growing snare collection. I also have a Masterworks snare on order that should be here in 4 months or less. Im pretty pumped as ive never had a custom made instrument.
Its 6ply maple exterior, 4 ply mahogany interior, black hardware with tube lugs and die cast hoops and i went with Diamond Burst finish because i love that finish and its almost imposible to find a used snare with, Hope everyone is well and if you havnt, find me on facebook. I dont really use this forum anymore since they took the app down. https://www.facebook.com/phil.bolin.16

I missed JY's response to my mention of my TT sig in the other thread. Ballin' snare drum, bro. If you have the means and the opportunity presents itself, you should grab one. At one point I believe Pearl Japan had an artist whose signature snare was exactly the same (14x6.5 FF, 3mm aluminium), though I'm thinking those are probably rarer than a TT on this side of the ocean.

I got mine circa 2011/12 in unplayed stock-head condition. I paid a grand total of $350CAD (say $270USD or 215).

Maybe you and your former bandmates should start a George Clinton tribute band and call it "Defunked".
