Never knew they made Masters Redlines, I only knew about the Reference ones. For what it's worth my old MCX was probably the most musical set of drums I've ever owned, they tuned up very easily and were rock solid. Post some pics of them!

Those Masters Redline kits were the 4 ply shells with rings. Amazing looking and sounding drums.

I've only ever played 1 Masters 4-ply and it had coated single-ply heads on it. I didn't expect much but I was completely blown away at how huge they sounded

The price that the seller is asking is 1,100 for a 22x18 Bass, 12x9 Tom & 16x16 floor in Black on Black. Have asked him for some more detailed pics & if there are any scuffs etc.
Is this kit worth the asking price? Last Pearl I owned was a lovely MLX a few years ago.

    Some pics of the kit.

Sorry, just my opinion.... but these drums are yuck city! They look like a D-Drum kit, or one of those early travesties from SJC. It looks like a toy drum kit

Picked them up today & they are immaculate. Not a single mark anywhere. Extremely happy with them. Looking forward to having a bash now.

I love the Redline Kits. Like was previously said; here in the states they were only on Reference Kits. You got the BOB Redline and they also had a WOW Redline. Yours looks to be in mint condition so enjoy your new Masters and appreciate how really rare these are!

Your Kit is The MMP Redline BOB in opposed to the MRP (6 plies Maple w/o re rings).

Dude, I'm really glad you went through with the purchase. The redline kits were my absolute fav when I first saw them. I love that the red is just an accent.

As far as looking like a toy, I feel the same way about the ddrum kits. But I think they drew inspiration from the Pearl kit and not the other way around.

Thank you. Have been trying to do some reading up on them but there is very little information out there on them. Would be interesting to find out production number etc.
