Been a while since I updated this. I've had the 13" tom and 16" floor tom for some time now. Around June, I believe. The 18" floor tom will be finished in a few weeks. I swapped the Starclassic tom mounts with the lower level mounts from Tama. The Starclassic mounts are a great idea but they wouldn't stop moving on me and they bounced way too much for my liking.

I never actually noticed this until you point it out.

Hey folks, figured I'd give you an update. I finally got the 18" and 20" floor toms. Got around to swapping out all of the tom heads to Remo as well. I'd like to say that I'm done but, uh, well...

Oh yes, and after about 12 or 13 years on Iron Cobra Powerglides, I decided to give the Speed Cobras a try.

Haha. Nah, that won't be happening. I hate having my hi hats that close. Most of my hi hat work is done on the x-hat.

Nice kit. Has sort of a late 70's early 80's vibe to it.

dude i'm in love with your floor tom sizes
so as you said, you had to buy these a bit at a time, could i ask how much it set you back? especially how much was 20 inch floor tom ?
i started drumming on a tama fiberstar kit , in sizes you'd love (13x9,14x11,15x13,16x14and 18x16 with 14x14 bass) and i think it would be cool to come full circle and get a nice,NEW fiberglass kit
