Hey! I swear that I've seen that set up before! In that finish too. Haha.

I don't want to start a war here, but... My money is going to Tama first. Well, actually, currently my money is going to Monolith Percussion.

This thread must have been subliminal, because I just bought two used Tama 6904T telescoping boom stands (https://www.tama.com/usa/support/cat...Catalog_11.jpg) with the intention to replace the top tube with a newer style tom holder like TT92 did. It is interesting that I owned a few of these back in the day and sold them, because I couldn't fit the 6899T tom shaft into it to make my own 6909T (https://www.tama.com/usa/support/cat...Catalog_14.jpg) that Glen has. I am glad that Tama now uses a 7/8" diameter tube.

I also liked looking at this kit: https://www.tama.com/usa/support/cat...Catalog_01.jpg

All in all, great looking kits here!

Had this Tama Imperialstar, set up in my girlfriends bedroom back in the 80's. Had the one Rogers 15" tom set up that I was always going to get recovered. but traded the whole thing in for a Roland TD 7 kit.

    Thanks!

I like big kits, and I cannot lie. Those little bitty kits are for those other guys.
