    Default Double Bass Tama Imperialstar.

I was on the forum before. Forgot my login information, couldn't get into my old email to access it, so I'm here again under a new name.

Anyway, here's "Old Faithful" for me. It's went through various set ups but this was the last one before I got my custom kit. Sorry that the pictures are not the best of quality. Lighting sucks in the drum room and I'm horrible at taking pictures to begin with.

    Here's the specs...

    Drums: Tama Imperialstar

    (2) 22x18 bass drums
    8x7 tom
10x7 tom (Yes, it's really 7" deep. It came from the limited edition hyperdrive kits)
    12x9 tom
    13x10 tom
    14x11 tom
    16x16 floor tom
18x16 floor tom (It's a Swingstar but it pretty much looks and sounds the same)
I have various snare drums but at the time of these pictures, I was using a vintage 14x6.5 Imperialstar King Beat.

    Cymbals: Sabian and Zildjian.
I have a lot of spare cymbals hanging around from various brands but in the full kit picture I was using the following.

    20" Sabian HHX Power ride
    18" Sabian Paragon crash
    18" Sabian HHX Studio crash
    19" Sabian HHX x-treme crash
    14" Sabian AAX Metal hats
    20" Zildjian A Medium ride

    Hardware: Tama

Roadpro cymbal stands, tom stands & snare stand
I have a few of those old school telescoping weighted boom stands. I turned one into a tom stand for my 8" and 10" toms.
    1st Chair throne
Iron Cobra Powerglide bass drum pedals
    Iron Cobra hi hat stand

    Heads: Remo

Bass drums are clear pinstripes on the batter side, ebony ambassadors with the port hole on the resonant side
Toms are clear emperors on the batter side, clear ambassadors on the resonant side
Snare is ambassador x coated on the batter side, ambassador snare side on the resonant side

Thanks man! I didn't have the 8" and 10" toms up for the longest time. Mounting them was a real pain. Got my hands of those telescoping boom stands, brand new too! Took the top part of a tom stand and stuck it in the boom, works great!

Well 10,12,13,14 across the front, but you were close.
I thought you didn't like the staggered toms up front?

Double bass kits in general are great. Double bass Tama kits are even better!
