Matching Finishes from other Pearl lines

Hi all. Haven't posted in here for a looooooooooooong time.

Does anyone know if you can get a Masterworks drum made in a finish that would match a Pearl drum from another series? If so, would the serial number on the other drum be enough for Pearl to select the appropriate finish?

Does Pearl keep a log of data on each serial number? I thought they were mainly for end-user insurance purposes.

I recently ordered a 6 inch MW tom, and all they needed was a serial number from a drum on my existing kit. Hope that helps yah.

We keep serial numbers for Masterworks series because of the custom veneers and finishes. All other serial numbers (reference & below) are for insurance purposes only.
